Duffle Coat

Yes, coats! We love coats. Shrugging on a good coat will make any outfit look instantly amazing. Wrapping one around you before stepping into the rain or snow is tantamount to a warming hug from an old friend. Coats can be long; coats can be short. Coats can be formal, casual or transcendent. Macs, trenches, dusters and cocoons... Can I get you faux fur or plaid? Trust us, there are infinite varieties for you to choose from. With so much choice out there it can be overwhelming - especially now the padded jacket has come back on the scene. To help out, we’ve prowled through our glorious coat department to edit down a range of our eight must-have items, spanning every look that’s relevant this season (in coat-terms, of course!).

First up is our gorgeous parka. A fur-lined hood and plenty of hardware details in the form of zips and poppers keep this black coat modern and interesting. So easy to wear and the firm style-favourite of many a fashion insider come winter for its effortless endurance.

Sometimes, the appeal of some flocking in winter just can’t be beaten - it looks so in-keeping with the velvet textures that are showcased year-on-year. In black or this sumptuous plum colourway, keep warm in this padded jacket with hidden zip and an exaggerated collar that mirrors the baroque appeal of the pattern detailing.

Coat number three is short and sweet; hip-length and pretty pink. Kept sophisticated with a tailored shape and double-breasted front, it would add sunshine to any frosty morning when paired with slim-fit jeans and boots.

We did mention faux-fur... piles of soft, black fur to nuzzle into on a freezing-cold night - oh, plus it has the added bonus of looking exceptionally glamorous in such exceptional warmth! You can use it to dress-up denim or keep the party-vibe at a Christmas event.

In bright, crisp blue and by far one of our most elegant coats, this streamlined shape is clean, beautifully flattering and the in-built scarf looks stunning left open or draped over-the-shoulder.

If you need a durable and reliable coat that will keep you warm in all weathers, won’t tire and will look stylish year after year, our Casual Parka is a perfect option. The dark Khaki makes it the ideal colour for winter.

Just like the trench coat, the Duffle Coat is a classic style. The characteristic toggle buttons and hood make it very practical and easy to wear. The Duffle style isn’t just for Paddington bear, they really do look lovely on everyone!

Our final one to make the cut is this classic, fleece-lined waterfall-front. Definitely one for a perfect weekend chuck-on that looks more expensive than it is in soft, off-white hues. We won’t tell if you won’t...

So ladies, take your pick! Remember, there’s so much more on our main site that we would have loved to squeeze into our final edit. I love being spoiled for choice...
