Plaids are on-trend and bring welcome colour to a winter palette. Worn with a roll-neck, jeans or wide-legged trousers, plus trainers, this is the perfect statement coat. Just the thing for a wintery dog walk or a trip to pick up the Christmas tree.

I’d wear this top with a black leather pencil skirt and slingback kitten heels, or indigo jeans and red suede ankle boots. Add a little luxe with shoulder-grazing earrings and a faux-fur collar.

A touch of shine

For relaxed glamour, choose a slouchy tie-back tee with sequin detail. Fine jewellery (stacked rings and star earrings), skinny jeans and ankle boots are the go-to accessories, while a black tuxedo jacket will take you into evening territory.

The one-step style solution

For a modern take on eveningwear, I love a jumpsuit. Keep it minimal with heeled courts, a statement necklace and beaded bag. If you prefer to keep your arms covered, wear a tie-neck chiffon blouse in a dark floral print underneath.

Peek-a-boo glamour

A Christmas drinks party calls for ultimate glamour, and this top, paired with black culottes and heels or flat embroidered slip-ons, will keep you looking chic all evening, whether you’re the hostess or a guest.

I like to work florals into my wardrobe to add a bit of interest. This V-neck, tie-waist dress with a winter-bloom print is both versatile and elegant. I’d wear it for day with a roll-neck and tall burgundy leather boots.

Animal magic

This loose, flattering drop-hem tunic is a nod to the Eighties – a big trend for the season. I’d pair it with black satin cropped cigarette pants and high-heeled courts, and finish with a metallic box clutch.

For grown-up glamour, you can’t beat the Little Black Dress. Understated and chic, this isa great buy that will work for lots of different occasions. The lace panel, knee length and longer sleeves keep it sophisticated and modern.

These jeans will look great with an oversized slouchy knit and ankle boots. I would also wear them with a leopard jumper for wow-factor. Premium Coated Jeans
