Pancake Day

Its nearly here, the one day of the year where you can consume your bodyweight in pancakes! While American-style pancakes are starting to frequent tables the classic pancake (crepe style) will always be our favourite. It doesn’t matter if your roll or fold, enjoy them sweet or savoury, pancakes are amazing no matter what the filling!

Banana and Chocolate Sauce

Slice up your banana and then once inside your pancake drizzle with chocolate sauce! Delicious.

Maple Syrup and Bacon

One American trend we do love, is the combination of sticky maple syrup with salty, crisp bacon!

Lemon and Sugar

A classic, the perfect combination of sweet and sharp and the lemon cuts through the sweetness which means you can eat even more of them!

Ham and Cheese

We know what you’re thinking, ham and cheese is toastie territory but bear with us, add ham and grate cheese onto your pancake. Roll (or fold) and return to the pan so your cheese melts into a gooey delight!

Crépe Suzette

Caramelise sugar until it is a deep amber, take the pan off the heat and add orange juice, orange zest and Grand Marnier (or Cointreau) and return pan to heat to melt down. Add butter until the sauce is glossy. Add pancakes to the caramel and warm through. Serve immediately! Top with orange segments.
