Summer Value: Your Essential Holiday Packing List

17 April 2018
Last Minute Holday - What to Pack

With holiday season quickly approaching, many of us are thinking about taking advantage of a last minute deal. But with last minute holiday deals comes the last minute panic of what to pack! Nobody wants to be rushing around 10 minutes before setting off to the airport worrying about where their left flip-flop is. So why not plan ahead? Below, we’re sharing our essential holiday packing checklist – the must have pieces that will see you through your getaway in style!

BASIC TEES

If there’s one wardrobe essential we just can’t holiday without, it’s the basics. But just because they’re called basics doesn’t mean they have to be boring. Choose bright colours and bold prints to create a vibrant summer wardrobe. If you’re trying to pack minimal or you’re cautious of your baggage allowance, try sticking to the same colour palette throughout the clothing you pack. This makes getting ready stress-free as your pieces blend together seamlessly, making you look chic and pulled together on every day of your travels. And with 2 for £20 on basic t-shirts, what’s not to love!

SHORTS & CROPS

It’s not a holiday without shorts! We rarely get chance to wear them in the UK, so it’s important we take the opportunity to dress them up and down as much as possible whilst abroad! Slip them on over a bikini or swimsuit to head to the beach, or team them with a more formal top to enjoy afternoon drinks at the bar. Plus, they’re easy to pack and require minimum ironing. We’ve got a wide selection of different colours, shapes and lengths to choose from, but here are just a few of our favourites…

COVER UPS

The most important factor of holiday dressing is ease – we want to look fabulous but with minimal effort. Kaftans and cover ups are the easiest way to achieve that! Just fling them on and instantly look glamorous whilst feeling completely comfortable and relaxed. Choose a loose fitting v neck style to head from beach to bar, or opt for a sleeveless lightweight dress to explore the local town and catch a tan too.

SWIMWEAR

One of the most important things to pack is your swimwear! You’re probably going to be spending a lot of time in this, so it’s important you get it right. If you’re going all inclusive, you don’t want to have to worry about eating too much. All of our one piece swimsuits are designed with tummy control technology to allow you to feel your best whilst away… even after lunch time! With a variety of different styles to choose from such as The Classic, The Halterneck, The Swimdress or The Wrap Front; head to our Swimwear Fit Guide to discover the perfect fit for you

EVENING WEAR

Evening dressing on holiday can be tricky. You want to make an effort without looking too formal, but it’s also important to choose something lightweight and airy to keep cool in the heat. If you love maxi dresses but struggle to wear them on a petite frame, a hanky hem midi dress is the perfect alternative. It provides all of the benefits of a maxi dress such as knee and leg coverage, but means you won’t be left tripping over or holding it up whilst you walk. Choose vibrant colours and bold patterns to make the most of the warmer weather and new surroundings.
